NamiSenseBot (NSB) for iPhone is a companion for the NamiSenseBot desktop app on your Mac, or for a self-hosted NSB server. You need one of those to use the app.
Getting started
- Install and start NamiSenseBot on your Mac.
- In the desktop app open Settings → Remote access, enable Companion and choose Start pairing.
- On your iPhone open NamiSenseBot, choose Scan QR Code and scan the code. If the camera is unavailable, pick the computer that appears in the list or type the address and six-digit code.
- Create or choose a bot and send a message.
Common questions
The app cannot find my computer. Check that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, that NamiSenseBot is running and Companion is enabled, and that Local Network access is on for NamiSenseBot in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network. Away from home, use Tailscale on both devices or the HTTPS address configured in the desktop app.
Pairing code rejected. Codes are short-lived. Choose Start pairing again on the desktop for a fresh code.
The Share sheet does not send. Your computer must be awake with NamiSenseBot running.
Where is my data? On your computer. NamiSense does not store your conversations. See the privacy policy.
How do I remove a phone? Revoke it in the desktop Companion settings, then delete the app.
What does the Cloud badge mean? That bot runs on your own cloud server and is reached through your Mac.
A bot is on a fallback model. Tap the chip on the chat and choose Restore to return to its preferred model.
